For approximately 120 km, from Argentat to Beynac, canoe or kayak down the beautiful Dordognevalley, rich in castles and picturesque villages.
The route crosses three of the most beautiful regions of France: Limousin, Midi-Pyrénées, and Aquitaine. The landscapes vary, ranging from the wooded hills of Corrèze to the limestone cliffs of Lot where magnificent villages cling, before ending below the castles of the Dordogne, in Périgord.
It is this idyllic setting that Safaraid Dordogne invites you to discover, for half a day, a day, a weekend, or even for a whole week.

The route passes at the foot of the Copeyre viewpoint, under the Château de Mirandol, and arrives at the Gluges bridge on the left bank.

A route suitable for beginners that will take you past the Copeyre viewpoint and Mirandol Castle, along the Gluges cliffs. You'll cross the village of Creysse before arriving in the heart of Meyronne – Saint-Sozy.

If you have 5 minutes, feel free to walk along the riverbank to enjoy a magnificent view of the castle… The "mini" routes are our shortest, perfect for discovering the activity as a family with children or simply spending a summer afternoon enjoying the unique landscapes of the Dordogne. Please note: the shuttle bus is located by the roadside, in the alcove next to the bridge.

Belcastel Castle near the Lacave caves, Treyne Castle with its Relais & Châteaux hotel, and Lanzac Castle. Arrival on the left bank at the Lanzac campsite. Note: shuttle bus at the campsite entrance.

These prices include: canoe rental with paddles, life jackets, and one dry bag per canoe (or kayak).
Dogs are welcome with a supplement: €5 per dog per trip.

WHAT IS MANDATORY
Be able to swim at least 25 meters, be able to submerge, be 6 years old and older, be in good physical condition, wear closed shoes, wear the life jacket provided by us.

Present on the Dordogne since 1978, Safaraid offers rentals for half-days, full days, or multi-day trips of 2 to 7 days. Flexible options are available to suit your preferences and schedule. We offer modern and well-maintained canoes and kayaks, as well as additional services (campsite reservations, luggage transport, etc.). Our fleet comprises 400 canoes and kayaks. Open 7 days a week from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, June to September.
