How ?

The investigation

The Admissions Committee will conduct an investigation. You will need to provide several documents (articles of association, company registration certificate, the last three balance sheets audited by a chartered accountant, the identity and contact details of the person who will attend working meetings or represent the new member company at general meetings, existing communication materials, flyers, promotional brochures, website) (a complete list will be provided). Please note that this person cannot be an employee appointed by the manager or a shareholder. The manager or a shareholder must be present at all meetings of the GIE Rivières de France. An employee may attend with the GIE's approval, but only under the supervision and in the presence of a representative from the employer.
The Admissions Committee will schedule the meeting.

The admissions committee

The Admissions Committee, composed of professional members and board members of the GIE Rivières de France meets at headquarters, in your presence. During this interview, which generally lasts one to two hours, you will be invited to present, among other things, your company, your strategy and objectives, your concept, your operations, your network, and your development prospects.

Admission criteria

The Admissions Committee focuses on verifying whether your brand complies with the Code of Ethics. It specifically checks the following points:

  • The existence of genuine expertise. We are professional canoe and kayak rental companies. We have a quality charter.
  • The services provided to customers in terms of quality.
  • The structure and organization of the base.
  • Guaranteeing the obligations of the sports establishment (declarations, insurance, PPE, etc.)
  • The legal balance of the structure.
  • The economic setup: sources of income, profitability and turnover.
  • The financial situation of the new member.
  • The operating system of the canoe base and its current communication.
  • His membership in the FNLPCK
  • The commitment and future desire for an eco-citizen commitment that respects the environment
  • The new employee's motivation, dynamism, and involvement are assessed. It's a commitment, as teamwork is essential.

Liking the activity, appreciating its products, being attracted to the concept would therefore not be enough for the success of our collaboration.
Verify the suitability of the man with the GIE.

The decision

Following these various interviews, the Admissions Committee issues an opinion and recommends to the Board of Directors that it accept, reject, or defer the application.
You are admitted as a member for a two-year probationary period. A member of the GIE's Board of Directors will mentor the new member to foster a more personalized and direct connection.
