Quite a sporty course at the beginning, not recommended for children under 9 years old due to the fairly long duration of the course.
Passage of 2 dam slides (Langeac and Le Chambon), numerous beaches for breaks and swimming. To see from the river: Chapel of Ste Marie des Chazes, Chanteuges village and abbey, Blot cliff, perched village of Chilhac, peninsula and enclosure of the priory of Lavoute-Chilhac.

Ideal for discovering the Allier gorges route between Monistrol d' Allier and Prades (Haute- Loire 43) only accessible by rafting or train. Fun course with thrilling passages.
White water day Canoeing + Rafting
The Allier is one of the rare rivers in France where you can allier sensations, with the rafting route of the gorges, and the pleasure of sailing in a canoe.
Our whitewater day program will allow you to combine the two. Raft in the morning between Monistrol d' Allier and Prades 12 km, then free hike in the afternoon by canoe or kayak at your own pace between Le Pradel and Langeac 15 km.
